Description	Dieser Infraschall-Datensatz enthält Datenprodukte aus breitbandigen Detektionslisten aller zertifizierten Infraschall-Stationen des Internationalen Überwachungsnetzes (IMS) für die Überwachung des Kernwaffenteststoppvertrags (CTBT). Im Speziellen umfasst dieser Datensatz einen sehr tieffrequenten Bereich des Infraschalls (0.02-0.07 Hz) und wird ‚maw‘-Produkt bezeichnet. Die zeitliche Auflösung bezieht sich auf die Zeitschritte und Fensterlängen und beträgt 30 min. Für die Prozessierung der weltweiten Infraschalldaten wurde der sog. PMCC-Algorithmus mit einer Terzfrequenzband-Konfiguration (0.01-4 Hz) verwendet. Detektierte Signale aus der dominanten Richtung innerhalb eines Zeitfensters sowie im produktspezifischen Frequenzbereich werden zu definierten Zeitpunkten zusammengefasst. Das Datenprodukt umfasst sowohl Detektionsparameter (z.B. Richtung, Geschwindigkeit, mittlere Frequenz) als auch zusätzliche Größen zur Beurteilung der relativen Qualität der Detektionsparameter. Der Datensatz wird als komprimierte .zip-Datei bereitgestellt, welche jahresweise (ab 2003) die Produkte (.nc-Dateien, NetCDF-Format) der jeweils zertifizierten Infraschall-Stationen des IMS beinhaltet. (2022), IMS infrasound data products for atmospheric studies and civilian applications, Earth System Science Data, doi:10.5194/essd-14-4201-2022 This dataset consists of data products derived from broadband signal detection lists that have been processed for the certified infrasound stations of the International Monitoring System. More specifically, this dataset, called the ‘maw’ product, covers a very low frequency range of infrasound (0.02-0.07 Hz). The temporal resolution (time step and window length) is 30 min. For processing the infrasound data, the Progressive Multi-Channel Correlation (PMCC) array processing algorithm with a one-third octave frequency band configuration between 0.01 and 4 Hz has been used. The detected signals from the most dominant directions in terms of number of arrivals within a time window and the product-specific frequency range are summarized at predefined time steps. Along with several detection parameters such as the back azimuth, apparent velocity, or mean frequency, additional quantities for assessing the relative quality of the detection parameters are provided. The dataset is available as a compressed .zip file containing the yearly data products (.nc files, NetCDF format) of all certified stations (since 2003). Provenance	As the German National Data Centre for the CTBT, BGR archives waveform data of IMS infrasound arrays and produces infrasound broadband detection lists using the Progressive Multi-Channel Correlation (PMCC) algorithm. The open-access products are derived from the detection lists. The data quality depends on the station performance and can be temporarily reduced, e.g. due to failures of the instruments or power outage. Therefore, additional quantities (e.g., the number of contributing sensors and a parameter that incorporates the number of available sensors, the correlation coefficient of the signals, and others) are provided with the data products at each time step. These enable assessing the relative quality of the data products, as described in Hupe et al. (2022). Additional PMCC metrics will be separately published.
