About: As the German National Data Centre for the CTBT, BGR archives waveform data of IMS infrasound arrays and produces infrasound broadband detection lists using the Progressive Multi-Channel Correlation (PMCC) algorithm. The histograms are derived from the detection lists as described in the paper by Kristoffersen et al. The data quality depends on the station performance and can be temporarily reduced, e.g. due to failures of the instruments or power outage. These histogram data products enable assessing the plausibility of detections in terms of back azimuth, velocity and amplitude and identifying anomalies in the detected parameters.       Sponge   NotDistinct   Permalink
