About: As the German National Data Centre for the CTBT, BGR archives waveform data of IMS infrasound arrays and produces infrasound broadband detection lists using the Progressive Multi-Channel Correlation (PMCC) algorithm. The open-access products are derived from the detection lists. The data quality depends on the station performance and can be temporarily reduced, e.g. due to failures of the instruments or power outage. Therefore, additional quantities (e.g., the number of contributing sensors and a parameter that incorporates the number of available sensors, the correlation coefficient of the signals, and others) are provided with the data products at each time step.
